I signed up for Ganttify, but I’m stuck on the “Verify your e-mail address” step and the email hasn’t arrived. Do I really need it, and how do I get past it?
Yes, verifying your address is the last step of setting up your account. It proves the address is yours, so that password resets and the reminder before your trial ends reach you and nobody else. Until you’ve clicked the link you can’t get into the app, and your 14-day free trial already started when you signed up, so it’s worth sorting out right away.
The email’s subject is Verify your email to activate your Ganttify account. Give it a few minutes, then check your spam or junk folder and, if your mail runs through a company server, ask whoever manages it whether it was held back. If it’s nowhere to be found, log in and click I didn’t get it, send me another verification link on the setup page. You’ll receive a fresh link at the address you signed up with, and you’ll see that address repeated on screen, so check it for a typo while you’re there.
The link in the email works for one hour. Open an older email after that and you’ll get an error page instead: request a new link from the setup page and use the newest email.
Still nothing after a second try? Email us at support@ganttify.com from the address you signed up with, and we’ll activate your account for you. Writing from that same address is what lets us confirm it’s really yours. Spotted a typo in the address you signed up with? Email us from the correct address, mention the one you typed, and we’ll switch it before activating.
Joined Ganttify through a team invitation? The invitation link already confirmed your address, so your account is ready as soon as you’ve accepted it.
